HUMAN RIGHTS PRIZE IN ROME

Twenty-seven years after its founding, sensing the need to further participate in the life of civil society as a whole, and therefore no longer just the technical-professional sphere, the Association's scope of action has expanded, from high-level training in all areas of law and science to the implementation of fundamental and socially relevant activities.

This is how the desire to establish an Award that embodies the fundamental principles and ideals of "Valore Uomo" was realized. Thus, in 2016, the Valore Award was born, a prestigious recognition for all those who have distinguished themselves through actions to protect people and progress, in the creation of material and intellectual works aimed at extending social well-being and the protection of human rights for every individual.

The evolution of the Human Value Association has led to a dedication to those who will be the protagonists of the future and, therefore, we have established, promoted and implemented two competitions for schools:

• the first one, held in 2015-2016, entitled “The protection of women through the valorization of differences”, aimed at preventing violence against women;
• the second, still in progress, aimed at promoting information and the culture of vaccinations as a requirement for the progress of society, with the development of the first book in the series “My Friend the Vaccine”.
